A Blogger's Dream Come True

For those of you who think I've abandoned my Blog...its not true. What has happened is sort of every Blogger's dream: I have found another venue for my architectural ramblings: Artbound KCET. For the last few months I have been writing for this wonderful online digital magazine with a much larger audience than I would ever have here at home, and I'm loving it! I will still be posting here occasionally, but as long as they'll have me but for now, my heart (and mind) belong to KCET.     My Name is Renee I work for Wallace Building Group and Better Built, We are currently seeking to employ an architect as a full time team member of one or both of these company's. Wallace Building Group specializes in mid century modern and modernism doing everything from restorations, remodels, and new construction. They are currently working on the Abernathy home, Twin Palms aka Sinatra home, and other 'Cody' homes in the desert. Wallace Building Group has also recently been contracted to do the full Gerald Ford remodel/restoration. Better Built does everything from additions to new construction. They do not specialize in any one type of architecture or design but do have beautiful projects and only use top of the line materials and contractors. The position will be salary and profit based. The position will include doing new construction design as well as working with other Architects and firms. We would like to hire an individual who is organized, motivated, creative, work's well in high stress situations, can keep communication open between the client and the General Contractors. Also the individual must be able to stay within budget, meet deadlines, and be able to work with many different personalities and clients. If you or anyone you know meets this criteria and is looking to join a company(s) that is quickly becoming recognized as up and coming in the industry.
